Unrivaled Semi-Finals Preview – Best Picks and What to Except

Playoffs are finally here. Tonight we have two semi-finals matchups to determine who will play in Unrivaled’s inaugural playoff finals matchup.

Both these matchups will be intense, except high-intensity, as each player will no doubt be hungry for the $50k bonus that comes with a title.

The first matchup of the night is set to be close and fierce. The 2nd seeded Rose faced the 3rd seed Laces. The Laces had a dominant start to the season, in what looked like a lock on second place, however with injuries and poor play, they had an unfortunate fall off near the end. Paired with a raging comeback from the Rose, a well-rounded offensive and defensive squad, this is the matchup we see tonight.

In the other matchup, the dominant Lunar Owls look to close out the Vinyl, but don’t expect it to be a typical Owls game where they flush out their opponents with ease. The Vinyl will be hungry, so expect a fight.

This is gonna be a close matchup, but one thing you can count on is high-intensity. Normally, these teams are relatively lower scoring, but I think this line is set far too low. I’ll slam the over. With the Laces missing Kate Martin, and the Rose on a tear, I see why they’re favoured here. I’ll take the Rose to cover the spread, hesitantly.

Vinyl vs Lunar Owls

I don’t see the Vinyl taking the W here, and neither do the sportsbooks. The line is set super high at 150, but the Owls have surpassed this line on several occasions, and in a high-stakes game like today, it’s probable. I’ll take the over hesitantly.

The spread is super wide, understandably. The Owls have blown out their opponents consistently, but this is a do or die. I think the Vinyl will show up, and keep the spread tight, so I’ll take them to cover.
